What sets Cotton House Hotel apart
A mansion of 1879
The first floors were built in 1879 as the house of a cotton manufacturer, Miquel Boada, in the years when the textile trade was making the city.
The house of cotton
In 1957 the cotton employers' association bought it for its headquarters. Its architect kept the façade, added four floors of offices and laboratories and a spiral staircase that hangs free.
A pool on the roof
The hotel has a saltwater pool on its roof, for its guests, and a terrace of about 300 square metres in its courtyard.
Next to El Palace
It stands on the Gran Via beside El Palace, a few minutes from the Passeig de Gràcia and the Palau de la Música.
