Casa Leopoldo
Leopoldo Gil and his wife Elvira opened their restaurant in the Raval in 1929, the year of the International Exposition. It became the favourite of the writer Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, and of Pepe Carvalho, the detective of his novels.

The restaurant is named after its founder, Leopoldo Gil, who opened it with his wife in 1929. Their daughter Rosa ran it for many years.
It changed hands in 2015 and, after a short closure, reopened under its old name.
