Built for a duke between 1889 and 1902
The title of Duke of Santo Mauro was given in 1890 to Mariano Fernández de Henestrosa, for whom the palace was built in the years around it. It is three buildings in a single garden, in the style of a French town house.
The palace was already a hotel, under another of the Marriott group's names, when in 2021 it took its present one after a renovation of its rooms, public spaces and gardens.
