FC Barcelona Museum: more than a club
'Més que un club', more than a club, says the motto in the stands, and in Barcelona it is true. The club's museum at Camp Nou tells the story of FC Barcelona from 1899, with its trophies, its legends and an immersive show, while the stadium beside it is being rebuilt.

Why the FC Barcelona Museum is worth it
FC Barcelona was founded in 1899 by a group led by the Swiss Joan Gamper. Under the dictatorship of Franco it became a symbol of Catalan identity, which is what its motto means.
Camp Nou opened in 1957 and became the largest stadium in Europe. It is being rebuilt and enlarged as Spotify Camp Nou, and the tour of the stadium has changed with the works.
The museum shows the club's trophies, its history and its great players, with an immersive tour of screens and sound.
What to see
The trophies
The cups of the Champions League, the Spanish league and the Copa del Rey, in rows behind glass.
The immersive tour
Rooms of screens, sound and projections that put you in the stadium on a match night.
The legends
The players who made the club, from Kubala and Cruyff to Messi.
How to do it well
- Check what the ticket includes on the day: during the rebuilding, access to the stands and the pitch has changed.
- Avoid match days, when the museum's hours change.
- The stadium is well outside the centre, in Les Corts. The metro takes about twenty minutes from the Plaça de Catalunya.
