A tea parlour and a bakery
Nobody knows who first owned Nom Wah. From the 1940s it belonged to the Choy family, who ran it chiefly as a bakery. Their nephew Wally Tang started work in it at sixteen, in 1950, and bought it in 1976. In 2010 it passed to his own nephew, who turned it back into a restaurant open all day.
