What sets Portrait Firenze apart
The bridge
The hotel stands on the Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, between the Ponte Vecchio and Ponte Santa Trinita, and most of its rooms face the water.
The Ferragamo family
It belongs to the Lungarno Collection, the hotels of the Ferragamo family, whose shop and museum are two minutes away in Palazzo Spini Feroni.
Suites with kitchens
The rooms are laid out as small apartments, hung with photographs of Florence in the 1950s, the years when the city's fashion houses made their names.
The Uffizi next door
The gallery is about 250 metres along the river, and Piazza della Signoria the same distance through the lanes.
What it has
- Restaurant Caffè dell'Oro, facing the bridge
- Bar
- Kitchens in the suites

The streets at either end of the Ponte Vecchio were blown up in 1944 and rebuilt after the war. The hotel takes its style from the years of that rebuilding, when Florence became a city of fashion.
It is the second of the Ferragamo family's Portrait hotels, after the one in Rome.
