A capital's villa, restored in 2010
The villa was built in the 1860s for the banker Baron Oppenheim, on the new avenue laid out round the hills when Florence was the seat of the government. It changed hands in 1894 and took the name of its new owner.
After a long restoration it reopened as a hotel in 2010.
