What sets The Goring apart
The royal neighbour
The hotel has put up the palace's guests for a century. In 2011 Catherine Middleton spent the night before her wedding here, and in 2013 it became the only hotel to hold a royal warrant for hospitality.
The garden
Behind the hotel is a private lawn, one of the largest hotel gardens in London, onto which the bar and the veranda open.
The dining room
A cream and gold room hung with glass chandeliers, where the cooking is British: beef Wellington, lobster omelette, a trolley of cheese.
Behind the palace
Victoria station is five minutes away, and the Royal Mews and the King's Gallery are round the corner in Buckingham Palace Road.
